Solmar Cataldi

Before moving into TV production Solmar Cataldi ran a successful music events company in Bristol promoting a series of high profile music nights in the South West entitled Apex.

Solmar started in TV production in December 2000 as a contestant researcher on WWTBAM before moving into International Format distribution in May 2001.

Solmar has considerable experience of format and commercial rights exploitation having worked with international licensees as an international production supervisor for Celador International (now Sony’s 2way Traffic International) for a number of years.

Solmar managed format licences across Europe, South America, the Middle East and Africa and was involved in launching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Brainiest, You Are What You Eat and various other formats across those territories.

Solmar joined Cat and Mouse in March 2006 and has become an established broadcast Project Manager with business development duties; building strong relationships with various production companies, development teams, major broadcasters and international format distributors across the UK.

Solmar also has international software and hardware consultancy responsibilities for a variety of the formats supported by Cat and Mouse which includes WWTBAM?, Power of 10, Who Dares Sings and various Poker projects.
